We are pleased to announce that Dr Tom Quick has joined our project group for four months.

You may remember Tom from the popular BBC TV series ‘Victorian Pharmacy’, first screened in August 2010, but repeated many time subsequently. Having completed his PhD last year on ‘Techniques of Life: zoology, psychology and technical subjectivity (c.1820-1890)’, Tom will be applying his science communication skills to work on a project developing the successful ‘Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine’ series of publications, with a view to bringing this material to a wider audience.
