Positions vacant: we are looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the team.
A Postdoctoral Research Assistant position is available at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) with Professor Tilli Tansey and the History of Modern Biomedicine Research Group.
QMUL is one of the UK's leading research-focused higher education institutions, with a budget of £285 million per annum.
With a Strategic Award from the Wellcome Trust, the History of Modern Biomedicine Research Group, headed by Professor Tilli Tansey, records oral testimonies from groups and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the legacy of modern biomedicine.
The successful candidate will work with Professor Tansey using resources created by the History of Modern Biomedicine Research Group. These resources will be placed in broader historical contexts and a variety of outputs (e.g. conventional publications, multi-media etc.) are envisaged.
The position is full time and available for three years, starting from 1st April 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. The starting salary will be £32,495 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required, this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
